There are chains in my eyes..

Laced around the black lungs belonging to sons of clowns and daughters of puppets, dancing in the land of my insanity.

Soon they'll drown in the midst of your tears, streaming into my empty heart - devoid of all hope of ever finding your love that I have ached for over many centuries.

Black alleys, dark ports, restless oceans, lifeless eyes. These are the scenes that surround my brain and build their walls around my life. Keeping out your light... locking in the lonely terrors of an abandoned minefield of nightmares.

The jewels of salt that flow down my broken face burn as they caress my overflowing veins that long for your control, your sweet release, the great escape of their inhabitants.

Free me, free me, free me from this frozen abyss that your abscence has banished my mind to. Despair and disturbed visions are my only companions now, the pieces of my shattering heart cannot stand the icy fires of depression any longer and have left me to my fate.
